San Joaquin County Health Care Services Agency touches lives in every sector of the community. Creating a sense of community is at the heart of it all and partnerships are what promotes health access in San Joaquin County.
Health Plan of San Joaquin
The Health Plan of San Joaquin is the community's local leader in providing low-cost health insurance to nearly 60,000 members in San Joaquin County. It is the largest provider of Healthy Families insurance for children as well as Medi-Cal enrollment. In addition, the Health Plan of San Joaquin now administers the health care program for over 7,500 San Joaquin County employees and their families.
Healthy Families
Working to solve the problem of uninsured children in San Joaquin County, Health Care Services, Concilio and Community Medical Centers have signed up thousands of families for the state's Health Family Program. Children get access to a full range of health services including immunizations, doctor visits, vision and dental care, hospital care and prescription drugs.
